I ate the most amazing buttermilk fried chicken in a bowling alley in London about 5 years ago and I’ve never had anything like it since. I’ve tried to recreate it a few times but with little success. One recipes tasted strongly of vinegar, one wasn’t tender at all, one had mediocre batter.
