Looking for some traditional UK dessert/pudding recipes!

Hi All,

I've been wanting to try some as traditional as they come UK dessert or pudding recipes. Something your grandma would make. I tried looking up recipes for Treacle Tart or sticky toffee pudding, but being from New York and not from the UK, I truly don't know what is traditional and don't want to assume.

I know a lot of sweet recipes in the UK require Golden Syrup, and luckily there are some specialty stores in NYC that I can order from that carry british goods like that.
