My kids always wanted the expensive ice cream-ben and jerry's usually ,i had very little money certainly not ben and jerry's money so here's how i got around it,I'd buy the cheap vanilla ice cream and id let them decide. On flavours ,I'd boil up condensed milk to make caramel or id crush up meringues or sweets I'd then leave the ice cream out to soften a bit and mix through their choices and return it to the freezer ,they got 4 times the ammount of ice cream for less money than 1 tub of the expensive stuff
