I'm trying to be more plant based and possibly convert to being a vegetarian. I've looked up how to cook tofu about 5 different ways and every time it comes out bland and spongy even after marinading it for an entire day! I'm not one of those people who hates on tofu, I've had it in restaurants and loved it! I know the delicious potential but just can't seem to get it to that tender flavorful consistency! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cook it? I'd be especially interested if it isn't an Asian style dish as while I like Asian food, I wouldn't want it all the time. Thank you!
