My mom is making kebabs with chicken and steak on one skewer and letting it marinade for over 6 hours... is this safe?

I thought they cook at different temps and couldn’t touch each other raw? She just sent me a pic of raw chicken and steak on one skewer touching on another with the vegetables and all that.... I don’t know but when I buy skewers at the store premise they have separate beef and separate chicken skewers not them together. I’ll be there in 6 hours and she’s letting them marinate together for that long. Will I get sick? I have a lot of chronic illnesses including IBS so I’m kind of worried if it’s a problem.
