So I'm relatively new to this subreddit and I'm hoping someone could help me.
Lately I've been making a lot of cakes trying to get my cake game right. I've been noticing that I tend to favour heavier denser cakes over airier, lighter ones.
I was wondering if someone could provide me with a recipe for their heaviest and densest vanilla cake. I would only ask that it is not a pound cake recipe and that the cake does not include a soak as I feel they make cakes too wet.
