I want a simple yet savory cheese sauce recipe for Ravioli, could you help me out?

I love pasta, and tomato sauces has become one of my forte's. But I don't know how to make a nice and cheesey sauce for Pasta, and I would love some help there!

All I am asking for is a simple recipe that I can play around with that doesn't cost much and yet can be upgraded however I may see fit.
