I recently discovered this local company that makes awesome spicy pickled okra, carrots, etc alongside actual pickles, and would like to make them part of a more complex meal rather than eating them out of the jar like the horrible bachelor I am. Does such a recipe exist in some culture or are pickles forever relegated to sandwiches and salads? Google keeps giving me recipes for HOW to pickle them in the first place, which is not what I want. Thanks!
