I am looking for a low budget pie recipe that can compete in a piebaking contest (by taste, not looks) with caramel sirup in it. Our village is baking pies for a retirement home where the elderly are the judges, a bit like that show "British Bake Off". Anyone have an awesome old fashioned low budget grandma's pie recipe with caramel sirup init by any chance? Thanks! I need your help reddit, we can win this!
