I am making this cake for my boyfriend's birthday, however I planned on using a boxed chocolate cake mix since I don't trust my cake skills from scratch. I will make the oreo whipped cream though. Is the boxed cake going to be too sweet combined with the whipped cream? If I add some crushed oreo cookies to the cake batter for flavor, will it change or ruin the way the cake bakes? Any other tips?
