https://i.redd.it/3ijxbt8beky11.jpg If you’re interested I made a very quick video with the recipe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acs9y3Wk1nA CEVICHE INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE 1/2 kilo shrimp 3 tomatoes 1 onion 2 limes 1 avocado Handful coriander Handful mint 1 V8 juice (tomato-vegetable juice) Worcestershire sauce Maggy Sauce salt Crackers Optional: Ketchup is widely served in ceviches all over Guatemala. PREPARATION Cut tomatoes and onions into small cubes and chop herbs roughly. For the sauce, add lemon juice, 1 cup of vegetable juice, Magy and wincestershire sauce to your own liking ( I personally add plenty wincestershire sauce!) & salt. Bring water to boil, once boiling, cook the shrimp for 40 seconds to a minute. Once the shrimp are nicely pink, they’re ready. You can wait until they cool down, or rinse them with cold water. Bring veggies, herbs, shrimp and sauce together and mix well. Eat with crackers. [link] [comments] |
