Prawns in Mustard Curry (We call it Shorshe Chingri Bhapa)
This is an authentic Bengali/Indian recipe enjoyed with steam rice. The gravy is made of mustard, grated coconut & Poppy feeds giving it a unique flavour. The prawns in this preparation come out as very soft and juicy.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Prawns
- 1.5 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp Poppy Seeds
- 5 tbsp Freshly scraped coconut
- 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp Mustard oil
- 8 pcs Fresh green chillies (Adjust as per your taste)
- Salt
- Sugar
