So. There is an asian restaurang in Monkstown, Ireland, called Amerta, that serves this absolutely fantastic deep-fried shredded and battered chicken.
It is super-crunchy and they pour over a sauce that is basically water-thin but with lots of garlic, chili and flavour! The sauce is thin enough to not make the chicken soggy but still adds tons of flavour on top of already tasty chicken
I have tried to find recipes and I have attempted to do my own version but can't get ur right. Going to Ireland once a month for shredded chicken is a bit too pricey ;)
Any ideas of how make something similar? Have you eaten there yourself?
