Okay so in short this post is aimed towards those who have worked at AMC Theaters or really any movie theater for that matter. In short I've tried for a very very long time to perfect my popcorn making methods to match that of the movies exactly. My recipe at the moment is:
1 Cup popcorn kernels 3Tbsp Butter 3Tbsp Popcorn Oil A LOT of flavacol, like way more than should ever be legal
The recipe is really good, but its not movie popcorn. If anyone has worked at a movie theater and by the grace of the food gods remembers what the recipe was(or the rough recipe), please let me know. I would be forever in your debt.
