Looking for Filipino dessert recipes

I want to learn to cook Filipino desserts here in the USA for my sister in law but she is not a baker. Will I be able to make anything that resembles the desserts back home for her and does anyone have a tried a true recipe that they would be willing to share with me? Thank you!
