Okay so my dad has always loved toblerone (birthday tradition was always an expected gift), but a couple years back became diabetic and suddenly cut out all sugar from his diet. You can see where this is going...
It's made me sad I cant buy him his favourite treat anymore until today I just thought - surely I can just make one? My thought process is below with some questions:
1) I'll need some sort of mould, best way to do this? Cant use anything hot because that would melt the shop bought toblerone, maybe a jelly (jello?) cast? 2) Find a recipe online and try to make a regular version (looking to you lovely people for help here) to see if I can make it somewhat similar to the commercial version with regular chocolate. 3) Replace everything with sugar free alternatives. Again this is another problem, sugar free chocolate is usually just dark chocolate which would throw the taste completely out of whack - any suggestions?
I appreciate any help and look forward to the challenge!
