[REQUEST] Dinner Advices

Hey there fellow cooks of Reddit,

I have promised making a dinner to my friend like year ago. In past few days she started mentioning it every day so I guess it's time to make it. The thing is I don't cook often so I have no idea what could I cook. I've got an idea what I would like to make and I'm open for ideas.

*Soup

*Chicken with some sauce or something

*Rice or mashed potatoes

*Salad

I would like to go with these but I'm open for any suggestions
