I made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies last night. They rocked my world. I didn't realize how good an oatmeal cookie can be, but I want to see what other variations besides chocolate chip there are.
What is your variation on oatmeal cookies?
To be true to this sub, here's the recipe I used:
In one bowl
-
1 cup flour
-
1 1/4 cup quick oats
-
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
-
Sprinkle of salt
In another bowl:
-
1/2 cup sugar
-
1 stick of butter
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
-
1 egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix everything together
- Add in 1 bar (or more) of semi-sweet chocolate a la Dollar Tree, chopped
Put them on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes
