US Chinese Restaurant Fried Chicken Wings

I’m having trouble finding a recipe for these. They’re mostly the same at every Americanized Chinese buffet or take out near me. Usually the meat under the breading looks a little yellow making me think some kind of marinade, and then a single layer of crispy crackly breading that I imagine is all or mostly cornstarch.

I want to make these today so any input is appreciated!
