Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1.chickpeas 1 cup(soak for 8 hours and cook them for 3 whistles when using cooker)
2.oil 2 tbsp
3.star anise 1
4.cinnamon sticks 3
5.cloves 4
6.onion 1
- Tomato 1
8.salt 1 tsp
9.coriander powder 1 tsp
10.Red chilli powder 1 tsp
11.Mint leaves
12.coriander leaves
13.Ghee 1 tsp
14.ginger garlic paste
15.Rice 2 cups
16.water 3 cups
Procedure:
1.Add oil to the cooker and add all the spices and fry them well
- Add onions and saute them till they are transparent then add ginger garlic paste and fry it well
3.Add tomato pieces and saute them till they turn soft
4.Add salt,Red chilli powder,coriander powder and mix them well
5.Add mint and coriander leaves
6.Add cooked chickpeas and rice along with water.Add ghee.
7.close the lid and cook for 1 whistle
8.open the lid only when all the pressure released naturally
9.gently turn the rice and serve immediately
10.Tastes good plain or with raita
