29 year old female here. I've always been slim despite eating like a horse but my recent blood work showed high LDL cholesterol and high HDL cholesterol (the good kind). My doctor said to look into exercising more and dietary choices. She said not to completely deprive myself of stuff like cheese, egg yolks, and meats but to make more sensible choices. I'm not a picky eater at all. The only things I refuse to eat are black licorice and pork products. But, I love to cook and I love to make pastas with creamy sauces, salmon in creamy dill sauce, etc. I'm at a loss as to what I could make for flavourful, savoury dinners. So far, I've made;
White fish baked in the oven with fresh herbs, onions, and olive oil.
Honey salmon with chickpea, avocado, red onion, cilantro, and cucumber salad.
Portabello mushroom caps stuffed with jalapeno and garlic (no cheese so it was "meh")
Anyway, now I'm bored and have no idea what to make.
