So I run an after school club, and we like to do baking/cake decorating every so often. Usually I can make allergies work with store brought alternatives however now I have a very sweet girl who is allergic to: dairy, soya, eggs and nuts. Most store brought biscuits/cakes maybe be dairy free but they substitute that with soya so I’m having real issues.
Her mum will just tell us not to worry and her daughter can just miss out when we do food activities as it’s so hard to find things that work but we make a point of being inclusive too everyone so I dislike her just watching the others do something.
I’m looking for some ideas of simple (we only have about 40 minutes) things we can make with her and some things I can make at home and bring in for her to decorate if it’s a lengthier recipe.
