Simple biryani recipe Ingredients: (Serves 2) · 2 tbsp oil · gee · 600g chicken pieces · 2cups of rice · 1 green pepper chopped into bite sized pieces · 1 large onion chopped · Spice mix( chilli, turmeric, cardamom, basil leaves, cloves, ) · 4 large cloves garlic chopped · 5cm piece of ginger grated 60g uncooked rice per person Method: To make the rice, heat the pan with oil and add gee then add salt. Cook rice according to pack instructions while making the below. cook half and rest will cook in the finale stage. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large wok over high heat. Add the gee, ginger and garlic stir fry for 5 min. Now add the pepper and onion, cook for a further 5 min, add half the sauce and cook for another 3 min. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add the other tbsp of oil over medium heat, , Now add the chicken, turn up the heat, stir fry for 5 min, add the egg cook for another 5 min.
