I've been trying to find out the secret recipe to this sauce forever now and thought you might be able to help me out. Everyone raves about the white sauce they serve at Kobe, but I am searching for the brown one they pour of the ketchup bottle when cooking the food. They use it on basically everything.
I have tried to replicate it before, but it wasn't the same. It has a similar consistency to soy sauce, but the flavor is totally different. I think it has some sugar, sesame oil, some teriyaki. I don't really know. All I do know is that it is amazing and I want to put it on everything I make at home.
If anyone has any insight they can offer it would be greatly appreciated.
