Chicken Taco Alfredo - The easiest and arguably one of the tastiest things I’ve ever made at midnight
What are some of your favorite international desserts?
I love baking, and I was thinking of starting a little project where I bake at least one thing from a different country each month for a year or more (as a little way to experience other cultures when I can't make the trip!). Some ideas are pretty easy, but I was looking for any different, exotic or cool ideas you guys could suggest! Thank you so much :)

Super amazing egg and avocado toast! (microwave only)
So we only had a microwave at work for a looong time so I perfected this recipe for a variation of egg and avocado toast and wanted to share it with you!!
You will need
A cereal bowl
A fork & a sharp knife ( alternatively you can use just a knife )
A small plate
2 large eggs
2 tiny packets of pizza powder mozzarella
1 tiny packet of crushed red peppers
1/2 an avocado
1 slice of bread
2 slices of lunch meat
1 slice of cheese (if you got it)

Crack the 2 eggs into the bowl & break the yokes with your fork, then add the crushed pepper and powdered mozzarella taking time to lightly beat the mixture inbetween each packet.

Place in a 1200 watt microwave (or whatever you have) and cover with the small plate to keep the steam in.

Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir the eggs to break up the cooking parts ( you gotta make sure it cooks evenly) and then replace cover and cook again for about 60 seconds stopping 30 seconds in to stir up the parts of the egg that are cooking only to resume cooking if they are not all set and cooked. (you are looking to have all the eggs set up into one round scrambled egg, you might need to adjust the details of the method to achieve a consistent outcome)
- Place your bread onto the warm plate & arrange your lunch meat on it in whatever way you find most appealing, setting the round scrambled egg on top of your meat pile (if you have sliced cheese, now's the time to set it on top of the egg)

mash up your avocado and spread it on top of your egg, shake a generous amount of salt and pepper pepper pepper to finish it off.

Consume your wonderful masterpiece, savoring not only the flavor, but the delirious glances from those around you.

Make ahead spanish dishes for large party??
Hello!
I'm getting married!!! I'm also cooking for the party of about 25 people. I'm trying to figure out the menu and would like some suggestions on recipes that I can make ahead and just pop in the oven to heat/finish them the day of the wedding. We are doing this in my home so I'm not worried about transport or anything. So far I've got this...
- Brisket tacos - can just leave in the over all day cooking
- Bean/Corn Salad - can make day before
- Chili - can make day before
- Green Salad - can have MIL make day of
What I'm looking for is another main and another side. I had a pasta dish but it wasn't spanish food. I also had a broccoli/cauli casserole. Again not spanish. So I would love to keep it spanish/tex/mex. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Easy Recipes?
My boyfriend wants to start learning how to cook. He never even learned the basics because he grew up in a very traditional family and his father didn't want him to learn. I am the primary cook in our household, which I don't mind because I love cooking. But I want to encourage him the best I can (I know he mainly wants to learn so he can do dinners on nights I work and I find that so sweet), so is there any easy to follow recipes any of you guys have that he can try out?

How can I reverse sear 10 steak in the oven at a same time?
Normally I cast iron sear 1 minute each side and throw in the 500F oven for 6 minutes. Having a party this weekend and wonder how can I cook 10 pieces of steak at a same time?

British Chips
This is a British classic way to make fries (expect are NOT deep-fried!). Wouldn't say this is fast, but for sure easy.
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes (choose any variety) Around 4 tbsp of olive oil (rapeseed will also work) Salt Spices (choose)
1. Cut the unpeeled potatoes into LARGE fries. With large, I mean 1 potato makes 4 fries. Yes, they're huge, they will shrink though.

Boil your potatoes. Around 20-25 minutes, or until they have to be taken out or else they will break. Pour water out.

Your oven should be at 450°F/230°C. Pour your potatoes onto a baking tray with parchement paper on it. Pour your olive oil on. Put to the oven for 45 mins, flip all over (you can also add more olive oil), now 15-45 mins in oven. Check always that they don't burn.

Once they're out of the oven, dry them with household paper, salt and spice.
Enjoy!

Chilli Beef.
------------------
Heat 3 tablespoons of Veg oil in a large pan or wok.
Chop and add 2 large onions.
Add 2 1\2 to 3 pounds of cubed lean beef.
Add 1\2 a tube of Garlic puree and fry together on a medium heat until meat is brown, about 10-15 mins.
Add 3 heaped teaspoons each of Cumin and Coriander Powder.
Add 1 large teaspoon each of Turmeric, Garam Masala, Cinnamon Powder and Ginger.
Add 1 level teaspoon of chilli powder.
Add 1 level teaspoon of salt.
Add 1\2 level teaspoon of pepper.
Stir for 2 minutes.
Add 200gm of tomato puree.
Add 400 gm of chopped tinned tomatoes
250 ml of cotes du rhone and 350 ml of water and bring to the boil, stir occasionly.
Put into a casserole dish and cover with foil and place in the oven, cook on Gas Mark 5 for 90 minutes, Top up with boiling water for more juice, Turn down to Gas Mark 3 and cook for a further 45 Minutes.
Serve with Boiled Rice or Jacket Potatoes.

When reading a book or watching a film have you ever been tempted to make a recipe as described? In Nero Wolfe, Rex Stout created the ultimate epicurean detective but there are others, Lord Peter Wimsey, Hercule Poirot, Nick and Nora Charles, Jane Marple, Nancy Drew and Perry Mason just to mention the sleuth/PIs who broke out of the bottle of Depression hooch and stale sandwich mode. My plan is to make as many recipes as possible, rewatch all my favourite noirs and great food-based films such as Christmas in Connecticut and revisit novels and plays with gourmet references. Well that's my excuse, when the weather forces me indoors over the Winter. Only 3 Ingredient needed for simple Masala-
- Ginger
- Whole Cloves

Procedure- for 1 cup of tea.
- Boil half cup of water, then add half-inch of crushed Ginger.
- Then add two nos of whole clove and cardamom pods each.

Hi all. I really want to start a recipe sharing Facebook page with my friends on Facebook. What I was thinking about doing was sharing others recipes from Facebook, Pinterest, as well as other websites. I would give the original recipe owner full credit for everything, the recipe and photos, and give a direct link to their recipe. I was wandering if anyone thought this was a bad idea that could get me into legal trouble? I honestly just want to help my friends out, make a weekly menu, share recipes, give them dinner ideas, and things like that.

Keep me going through my work hours
I recently have started a new job that requires me to be on my feet and moving for almost 9 hours every work day...now I can't have food on the work floor but do any of you have recipes for snacks that are maybe 1-2 bites you can reccomend? I'm diabetic so low sugar is a bonus but anything quick and easy will work just fine...Thanks for all the help in advance.

Indian Food and Garam Masala
I would love to start making Indian dishes. I know that Garam Masala is an important part of Indian cooking. I don't want to make it from scratch for obvious reasons.
I would love to know which brand of Garam Masala the /recipes members recommend. I know there are a lot of very knowledgeable members out that who can help. Knowing which is the best brand would avoid expensive disasters.

Wtf do I make with a monster zucchini?
My aunt grows zucchini and cucumber in her garden and this year she gave me a zucchini literally the size of my calf. I was thinking slow cooking it down into a bolognese but I kind of want to look into other zucchini based dishes.

Pumpkin Creme brƻlƩe with milk
I have a small pumpkin and want to make a pumpkin Creme brĆ»lĆ©e where it’s baked inside of the pumpkin instead of little ramicans. The recipe calls for heavy cream as the base. Sweet snacks for work, vegan, gluten free and nut free?
Hey all, my workplace has a lovely culture of people bringing in cookies, brownies, cake etc and I'd love to get involved but I am terrified of cooking. I'm currently working my way through a cook book where all the recipes have less than 6 ingredients, that's my culinary level!
I'm vegan so obviously I don't want to make anything I can't eat, we have a couple of gluten free people and I don't like to exclude them, and I work in a primary school so nuts are as welcome as a sword. These issues have hindered my searching online! Any individual recipes or websites greatly appreciated!

For me and my family it's any type of pasta. When out of ideas we cook pasta and sprinkle over grated cheese, spices and add beet salad as side dish. That's very simple but works everytime.

Mexican style avacado toast
Ingredients: 2 slices of bread (the only one I can confirm to be good is sourdough because I haven't tried any others)
Ranch(any kind)
Cilantro
Avocado
Directions:
1.Toast sourdough (or bread of choice) 2. Dice an avocado while it's toasting 3. Spread ranch on the toast like butter 4. Put diced avocado on bread and cut each cube into 3rds 5. Put cilantro in a way to not have a bite without it 6.š“

Italian-American Bakery style "Mocha Cakes"
I've been in search for a recipe for what I've seen called a "mocha cake" in the more old school Italian-American bakeries in the metro Boston area. I mention location because when I talk to people not from the area they have no clue what I'm talking about, so it's possibly a regional thing? It's a family favorite and more recently I've had a hard time finding them.
This is not a chocolate-coffee flavored cake - that would be much too easy and not worthy of a post.
Best description of this cake is a slice of a raspberry jellyroll rolled in coconut on the outside. Each slice is topped with a generous swirl of frosting (presumably where the "mocha" part comes in, though I've never had one that was super intensely flavored) and a dollop of raspberry jam and/or lemon curd.
I've had the hardest time trying to get the frosting right - it doesn't seem like a normal buttercream but I'm not sure. Anyone have an ideas on where I could start to recreate these?

Does anyone have a recipe that is close to the sezchuan dipping sauce from mcdonalds?
Obviously it doesn't need to be exact, but when the new season of rick and Morty drops me and my roomates are having a viewing party. Roughly two months ago I posted a picture of all the ingredients needed to make our legendary 200 lb of pork butt for a Fourth of July party, however due to me being an absent minded fart, I completely forgot to answer just about all the questions about the recipe(s)

Easy Spicy bean dip recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 small yellow onion
- 3 jalapenos
- 3 habaneros (optional)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 can of refried beans
- 1 can of chipotle peppers
- Mexican cheese
- Cumin
- Smoked paprika
- Cayenne pepper
- Oregano
- Salt
- Chop all veggies.
- Puree chipotle peppers.
- Sautee the vegetables in vegetable oil over medium heat with a pinch of salt. Add the garlic last so that it doesn't burn. Add a half tbsp of smoked paprika and cayenne, 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp oregano. Sautee for a couple more minutes.
- Add the pureed chipotle peppers. Wash the can out with a bit of water and add to vegetables.
- Add 1 tbsp oregano.
- Add refried beans, mash to mix. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat.
- Add a half cup of mexican cheese. Stir in over medium heat until melted and serve,
