I'm not a traditionally trained chef by any means. Just a guy who enjoys cooking and eating fresh, made at home foods. I've basically just been cooking different recipes out of cookbooks, and the fine people at Buzzfeed/tasty have given me tons of new things to try I otherwise wouldn't have. I mixed different aspects from a couple different ramen recipes I've tried over the years and came up with this. My girlfriend has never really been into the instant noodle type ramen but absolutely loved this. Would love to hear your opinions on ingredients or process that would make this better!
Bring 6 cups water to a boil in medium dutch oven- add 3 chicken bouillon cubes (reduced sodium if you must) and 2 teaspoons of chili garlic sauce- stir until evenly dissolved. Reduce to simmer and cover.
In medium sized Wok, heat to medium-high and add 1.5 tablespoon sesame oil, 5 finely minced cloves of garlic, and 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger. Cook until fragrant and slightly browned. Add 1 small yellow onion, 1 medium red bell pepper, and 2 tablespoons sriracha. Cook for 3 minutes or until onions are golden in color. Scrape all ingredients into simmering broth.
In your now empty wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons sesame oil over medium high, add a half pound of shrimp seasoned with fine sea salt, black pepper, and fresh basil. Cook for 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Add to simmering broth with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of rice vinegar, one full-size carrot sliced into coins and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
Boil 4 bundles of noodles until cooked(I prefer this product and have had luck finding it at whole foods; https://www.amazon.com/Hakubaku-Organic-Ramen-9-5-Ounce-Pack/dp/B007WQCENQ), remove and strain under cold water to stop cooking.
Remove dutch oven from heat, add cooked noodles and serve. Garnish with sliced scallion.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth out in a couple of weeks and have been told its likely that I'll be unable to eat solid foods for a week after the surgery as I'm having some bone grafts in addition to the extractions.
Can anyone suggest some tasty and (relatively) healthy recipes that I could prep cook before the surgery?

I am trying to find the recipe in particular for my grandmother. She found it in the Miami Herald years ago and lost the printed out sheet. I've spent an hour digging online for it, but I haven't been able to find it. Any help is appreciated!

My mom just got me a ceramic skillet from Walmart and it says that it can grill or fry up to 10 drumsticks, so that's what I have. I also have the typical Vietnamese/American household spices and the like, if that helps narrow down some recipes. I'd prefer to not have to buy a bunch of ingredients if possible.
One of my possible concoctions would just be the typical onions, garlic, jalapeƱos, sugar, and soy sauce route. I kind of would like to try something a little different though.

While on vacation in Seattle I picked up some hot habanero pasta shells.... it really packs heat so I don't think anything in the heat department needs to be added... just looking for suggestions as to what to make with this. Open to just about any type of meat!

I asked my son to write up my meatballs recipe. I should have read it before I forwarded it to my friends and church members!!
Meatballs
For each pound of ground beef (the leaner the better or the sauce gets greasy) 1 lbs beef 1 egg 1/2 to 1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs (get a roll from a bakery and chop it in the food processor or shred it with a cheese grater) 1/2 cup Romano or Parmesan cheese (or a blend of the two) 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon granulated garlic 1 teaspoon parsley Dash of salt and pepper
You can usually easily double this part. Past that you might need to adjust the ratios to get the right feel. Mix everything up and roll into balls. Some people will cook the meatballs in the oven or fry them off. Mom drops them directly into the sauce and lets them simmer in it to cook for at least 2 hours, without stirring for the first hour (so you need to keep the sauce on low).
Because we're descended from a family of witches, she will chant as she adds the meatballs:
Angels and demons hearken ye to my call
Do not tarry for fear of my ire
To my meatballs let no harm befall
As they simmer over this fire
Sauce
Coat the bottom of a large pot with olive oil and heat it slightly over low heat. Add 1 chopped onion and 4-5 chopped garlic cloves. Cook until they are lightly browned. Add 1 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes (or if you're feeling adventurous, you can boil and peel fresh tomatoes, and put them through a blender until you have about 4 cups worth of tomatoes. It takes longer, but it tastes really good. I generally recommend Roma tomatoes) Add 2 12 ounce cans of tomato paste, This is where it gets tricky - add at least 1.5 cans of water with the paste. After you let it cook for 15 - 20 minutes, you can add another half can of water if the sauce seems too thick.
Also, if Mom is working a spell to attract or enslave a man, this is where she would add a few hairs from a location better left unnamed while chanting:
I am the queen
You are the bee
Come to me
And pleasure me
Add about 8 ounces of chopped pepperoni. Add 2 tablespoons of basil and 2 teaspoons of oregano. Add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well and cook until all the paste has dissolved. Reduce heat to a simmer.
Another optional thing: You can add about 1 lbs of cooked Italian Sausage. Just boil it until it is cooked (10-15 minutes), and then cut it up to add to the sauce.
As mentioned above, you can add the meatballs at this time, distributing them around the pot. If the last few won't go under, use a spoon to cover the tops with sauce. Let them cook about an hour before stirring if you are adding them raw. Otherwise, they will break apart.
Don't forget Mom's chant! Otherwise they will burn.
Once the sauce is ready, serve with your favorite pasta. While making the pasta, she will lean into the steam once the water boils and chant the following:
Boil, boil, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Reduce my enemies to rubble
And my underarm, leg, and facial hair to stubble.
Cook your favorite pasta and serve. The sauce is even better on the second day!
That is pretty much all there is to it, unless she's trying to conjure up a few demons using her Italian Christmas Eve Witchcraft Powers. Then it gets way too complicated.

Walmart used to sell a pack of already portioned pork (sadly I don't remember the brand) that was called "Pork for carnitas" and it had a carnitas recipe on the package. We used it for a few years but with our lack of forethought, we never kept a copy of the recipe. Of course Walmart no longer sells it. It was all dry rub ingredients and cooked in the oven. If anyone happened to have used that same recipe, I would be so grateful!

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, or knows a very similar recipe, can you hook me up? <3

I'm planning on making this canned biscuit cinnamon sugar doughnut recipe but it calls for margarine for the coating and I want to use olive oil to make it healthier, but if I do will it ruin the overall taste of the doughnuts?
Here are a list of the ingredients. PLEASE feel free to add in what you think would be healthier alternatives for ANY of the below ingredients that also wouldn't compromise the taste of the cinnamon sugar doughnuts. Thanks :)!
1 stick margarine
1 ten count can Texas style biscuits
1 Cup Sugar
1½ Tablespoon cinnamon
Vegetable Oil For Frying

Serves: Two
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking time: 30-40 minutes
Ingredients
Red Roasted Pepper Sauce 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 whole roasted red peppers, chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tablespoon chopped basil 150ml single cream 1 or 2 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese salt and pepper
Cod and Vegetables 2 skinned cod fillets 1 small courgette, sliced and halved 1 red onion, thickly chopped 1/2 red pepper, thickly chopped 1 tablespoon chopped parsley salt and pepper
Method
For the sauce:
Heat the olive oil in a medium frying pan and cook the roasted peppers, garlic and basil for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occassionally to bring the flavours together.
Transfer the mix to a bowl along with the cream, cheese and a healthy seasoning of salt and pepper and use a hand blender to turn into a thick and creamy sauce. Feel free to use a food processor for a smoother sauce.
Return the mixture to the pan, bringing to the simmer and stirring for five minutes. Then set it aside.
For the cod and vegetables:
Mix the vegetables together and place in the bottom of a large baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the two cod fillets on top of the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle on the fresh parsley.
Pour the red pepper sauce over the cod and vegetables.
Bake in the oven on 175°C for approximately 30 minutes until the fish is flaky and the vegetables are tender.
Serve immediately.
The blog post can be found here.

I'm trying to make this type of bread; in the receipes it's written to use beer yeast, but i've wrongly used cake yeast.
The next step of the receipe is to wait 2 hour in order to let the compound grow up; with the different yeast, i need to wait more/less or to bake it immediatly?
Also, i need to add more salt to compensate the different sweetness of the cake yeast?

This is a truly amazing, impressive looking cake that merges both a chocolate fudgy style cake with a light no bake cheesecake. The end result is a rich decadent cake that will definitely satisfy your chocolate and Oreo cravings. The chocolate cake provides a rich, fudgy texture to the top and bottom layers of the cake. The cheesecake between the two layers provides a light fluffy filling that has Oreo pieces mixed through to provide a little crunch as well as that wonderful Oreo flavour. The cake is topped with a lovely milk chocolate ganache, piped with sweetened cream and finally sprinkled with crushed Oreo pieces.
Ingredients:
Chocolate Cake
• 1 3/4 cups Plain Flour sifted
• 2 cups White Sugar
• 3/4 cup Cocoa
• 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
• 1 1/2 tsp Bicarb Soda
• 1 tsp Salt
• 2 Eggs
• 1 cup Milk
• 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
• 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1 cup Boiling Water
Oreo Cheesecake
• 1 1/2 cups Thickened Cream
• 250 g Cream Cheese softened
• 3/4 cup Icing Sugar
• 12 Oreo Biscuits roughly crushed
Chocolate Ganache
• 200 g Milk Chocolate roughly chopped
• 1 cup Thickened Cream
Cake Topping
• Thickened Cream for piping
• 2 tbsp Caster Sugar
• 4 Oreo Biscuits roughly crushed
Instructions
Chocolate Cake
1. Pre-heat a fan forced oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Grease and line with baking paper two 20cm (8 inch) round springform baking pans.
3. In a large bowl add plain flour, white sugar, cocoa, baking powder, bicarb soda and salt. Stir to combine.
4. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil & vanilla extract. Using an electric beater mix until fully combined.
5. Add boiling water and continue beating until fully combined.
6. Pour batter evenly into the two baking pans.
7. Place in oven and cook for between 30 - 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
8. Remove from oven and allow to cool in pans for about 10 minutes before removing the cakes from the pans, inverting them and allowing them to cool completely on wire racks.
Oreo Cheesecake
1. In a large bowl, add cream cheese and icing sugar and using an electric mixer, beat until fully combined and smooth.
2. In a separate bowl add thickened cream and using and electric mixer, beat until stiff peaks form.
3. Add cream to cream cheese mixture and stir until fully combined.
4. Add crushed oreos and stir to mix through.
Chocolate Ganache
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add milk chocolate and thickened cream.
2. Cook while constantly stirring until chocolate melts and mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool down a little before using to apply ganache layer to cake.
Whipped Cream Piping
1. In a bowl add thickened cream and beat until soft peaks form
2. Add caster sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, and continue beating until stiff peaks form. Add caster sugar to attain your required level of sweetness.
Cake Assembly
1. Place one chocolate cake on a plate and spread oreo cheescake filling over the top. Spread as evenly as possible.
2. Place second chocolate cake on top and smooth oreo cheesecake filling to cover any gaps between the layers. Place in refrigerator for about 10 minutes or until ganache is ready, to allow cheesecake filling to firm a little.
3. When ganache has cooled sufficiently pour over the top pf the cake and allow some ganache to drip and run down the sides of the cake.
4. Place in refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow ganache to firm.
5. Pipe sweetened cream onto the top of the cake and sprinkle with crushed oreo.
6. Serve when ready and store in refrigerator.

What would you put into a tuna salad, besides cooked rice, canned tuna, sliced cornichons, capers, mayonnaise.
What wouldn't you put into a tuna salad.
I'm not American so your idea of a tuna salad might be a tad different.

Hello, I am currently a graduate student and I don't have much time to cook. I mainly just eat pasta and rice with sauce. I don't like cooked vegetables and I am allergic to eggs and nuts. Does anyone have any recipes that are quick that fit my niche requirements. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Summer is time of juicy vegetables and aromatic herbs. Why not to make easy and incredibly simple salad of all these? The recipe from Jamie Oliver is, as always, quick, healthy and very tasty. Im sure you will pleasantly surprise your family and guests with this original dish that can become an easy snack or an addition to baked chicken, juicy steak or aromatic barbecue.

Hello there, first time poster. I'm considering trying TurDuckHen this year for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I've been perusing recipes, but if anyone has any experiences, positive or negative, or best practices, tips, tricks, etc. I'd love the help! I want it to be as close to 100% homemade as possible, so please don't refer me to "just buy it" sites, thank you.
Edit: Sorry for forgetting my flair! This has been corrected.

When you are looking for a salad with a difference, try this one. It also combines chicken with the salad to make it a more substantial meal that can turn into the main meal rather than as a side salad. This salad mixes chicken breast with some traditional salad ingredients. It is contrasted however with the addition of sweet & juicy pan fried peaches and blueberries. Top with feta and almonds and you have a fantastic lunch or dinner meal. The flavour is further enhanced not only through a honey mustard dressing, but also the inclusion of peanut butter. The end result is an amazing chicken salad packed with flavour.
Ingredients
• 3 Chicken Fillets breast fillets cut into bite size pieces
• 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Ground Chilli
• 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
Honey Mustard & Peanut Butter Dressing
• 1 clove Garlic crushed
• 4 tbsp Orange Juice
• 1 tbsp Peanut Butter smooth
• 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
• 1 tbsp Olive Oil use extra virgin
• 2 tsp Honey
• 1/4 tsp Salt
Salad
• 1 Baby Cos Lettuce
• 1 cup Blueberries fresh but use thawed frozen if out of season
• 2 cups Red Cabbage shredded
• 3 Peaches cut into slices. Use canned peaches if out of season
• 1/2 cup Feta Cheese use your favourite. Our local supermarket sells a great tasty Persian feta which I use.
• 1/4 cup Almonds chopped
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, add salt, ground chilli & smoked paprika. Stir to combine.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat.
3. Add chicken and sprinkle with chilli & paprika mixture. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
4. Add peach slices to pan and cook until they start to brown each side. This will only be about 1-2 minutes each side depending on the heat of your pan.
Honey Mustard & Peanut Butter Dressing
1. In a glass jar, such as a mason jar, add garlic, orange juice, peanut butter, dijon mustard, olive oil, honey and salt. Shake well to fully combine.
Salad
1. Cut the baby cos lettuce into smaller pieces. I just cut it in half.
2. Place lettuce in a large bowl as the base for the salad.
3. Add red cabbage and blueberries.
4. Top with chicken & peaches.
5. Sprinkle with chopped almonds and feta cheese. Stir to mix through.
6. Optionally add the dressing at this stage and either leave on top or stir to mix through. Some prefer salad without dressing so you may leave this step for each person to add once they have served the salad on their plate.

My mother used to make this with canned peaches. Forget it! I'm changing it up a bit.
Needed:
5-6 fresh ripened peaches peeled and cut up into slices and/or bite size pieces 1 hand full fresh raspberries (us frozen in a pinch/you can't tell the difference) 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup water 1 box of yellow cake mix 1& 1/2 stick of butter melted (Don't use margarine! You want the richness of real butter) Cinnamon
13x9 in pan sprayed with cooking spray. Set oven to 350 degrees.
Sprinkle sugar over the cut up peach pieces in a medium bowl. Let set 1/2 hour to get the juices started. Then add water and stir until incorporated. Pour the peaches and the juice into the pan, spreading the pieces around the bottom of the pan evenly. Sprinkle peaches with raspberries. Shake dry cake mix over top of fruit. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and give a couple shakes of cinnamon on top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until bubbly and slightly browned. Serve warm with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream if preferred. Or just eat it as is.

I visited Cuba for my honeymoon a couple of weeks ago and they had a special marinade they would add to the meat as it was grilling. The seemed to call it mojito and it was so freaking good I need to know how to make it! It seemed to be a mix of oil, vinegar, pearl onions and green peppers. Would anyone have a recipe?

My neighbors just gave me some fresh tomatoes from their garden straight from their garden (we've gotten cucumber, lettuce, and jalapeƱos from them before too- so yummy).
What are some smaller recipes I could utilize them in? We aren't always huge fans of just raw tomatoes, so what would be the best ways to utilize them?
For reference, they gave us: 4 standard red (just over 1 pound) 1 heirloom (softball sized) about half a dozen of (what I believe are) sun golds
Any ideas are super appreciated!! :)

If you are searching for a simple and delicious recipe for breakfast, cook these flavorful sandwiches with cucumbers. Now, when the it is hot outside, this recipe is particularly relevant. Sandwiches comes out nourishing, and at the same time, fragrant and juicy because of herbs and fresh vegetables. Additionally to the mixture of ground pepper you can put other spices that you like to the butter. For example, paprika or ground coriander are ideal there. Dill can be easily replaced with parsley, cilantro or basil.

Last... Add 1 cup of water and let it cook down til the water cooks outs then serve on hot rice.
P.s. If gravy is to thin dissolve 1 Tsp of corn starch in 1/2 cup of warm water. Cook it til it thickens up.

So in my house we eat these cookies year round. They're pumpkin cookies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Before you're all like "ew no thanks" seriously you gotta give these a chance! My boyfriend was all like "pumpkin is disgusting get it away from me" until I lied and said it's a sugar cookie. The idiot fell for it. Now he's obsessed and these are his favorite cookies. They have the most mild pumpkin flavor, I swear. It's more cinnamon and nutmeg that you taste. I think the pumpkin just helps keep them super moist! It's like eating cake. For real. I've made these for family, friends, coworkers, and for my boyfriends coworkers down at the jail and it's a big hit every time!
The cookie (makes 2.25 dozen): mix together 1 cup of softened butter 2 cups of all purpose flour 1 cup of sugar 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt. (If you're using salted butter, skip the salt) 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 of a 15ounce can of pumpkin purƩe
The icing Powdered sugar and water. I usually just eyeball this part but the consistency should be like... pancake mix. I used about 2 cups of powdered sugar and 2 tbsp of water? It sounds super sugary and gross but it compliments the cookies well. Once again, I swear haha
Baking instructions: Preheat oven to 350 Use an ice cream scooper to scoop batter in to perfect same sized balls and leave about an inch and a half to two inches all around each cookie (they mostly rise) Place cookies in the oven and wait patiently for 10-12 minutes until the tops have set and the bottoms are golden.
WAIT UNTIL THE COOKIES ARE FULLY COOLED BEFORE ICING. You'll just end up with wet cookies. I know you're wondering what that is and i don't know how else to explain it but just wait. Seriously.
These are great with and without icing. They're also nice to have with your morning or evening coffee :) I hope you all enjoy these as much as my family and friends!

Boudin Sausage Recipe Ingredients:
*10 lbs Boston butt
*1 lb of chicken liver
*4 medium onions
*5 stalks of celery
*2 bell peppers
*3 bunches of green onions, chopped fine
*1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped fine
*1 1/2 tbsp black pepper
*5 tbsp of cayenne
*9 3/4 cups of cooked rice

*Tony Chachere's to taste
*Dry rub (I Use Leblanc's Cajun Seasoning "Guns & Roses" Dry Rub)
Directions

When you have graton on the bottom of the pot from browning the meat then you doing it right. Take meat out the pot when finish Browning.
Next add the trinity (onions, celery, bell pepper) and parsley cooked down for a few minutes Then you want to put the lid on the pot for about 5 mins so it will make a lil water from the onions and it will get all the graton off the bottom of the pot then add the liver and cook down with lid on pot for about 5 mins. Next add green onions to the pot and cover pot let it cook til the white onions turn translucent. Then add meat back in the pot. Add 1 gallon of water or more to the pot. Add more season if you think it needs it. I add a little Tony Chachere then taste to get it seasoned like I want it.
Finally cook the meat til the bone comes out roughly 3 hrs. Take the bone out of the pot and then keep cooking until the meat shreds itself. Turn off fire let it cool down then strain the meat out the pot to a container that will fit in the icebox. Let the meat cool all the way before putting in the icebox.
The Next Day... Take the meat out of the icebox and then add the hot cooked rice and mix til it's uniform. Once that's done then you can put the mixture into sausage casing to make the boudin sausage.
Have fun making Boudin! You will love this recipe!

This was the link I had used to find it previously. I probably forgot a lot of ingredients but from what I can remember it was: *Steak *Bacon *kidney beans *crushed tomatoes *tomato paste *onion(s) *lager (To deglaze the pan after cooking the steak in the bacon grease) *Masa Harina *Cocoa Powder *Splash of balsamic vinegar after its cooked
TLDR: I need to find a recipe. All I have to go on is a dead link and some of the ingredients.

I recently discovered this local company that makes awesome spicy pickled okra, carrots, etc alongside actual pickles, and would like to make them part of a more complex meal rather than eating them out of the jar like the horrible bachelor I am. Does such a recipe exist in some culture or are pickles forever relegated to sandwiches and salads? Google keeps giving me recipes for HOW to pickle them in the first place, which is not what I want. Thanks!

Hi,
My friend group has been going through a difficult time all around, from family deaths to shitty break ups to unemployment.
They've always helped me when my life was poopy and I really want to bring us together for a good home cooked dinner to thank them and be there for them.
The only definitive side I have picked is Paula Deen's Crockpot Mac n Cheese (or as I call it, coronary disease mac n cheese).
I want to make fried chicken, maybe some green beans and a gumbo and salad or coleslaw.
Can you recommend any recipes within the soul food idea, foods you'd want to eat when you're sad to feel better?
Thanks
ETA: i was thinking apple dumplings for dessert, but I feel like that doesn't make sense with the theme here so I'd also love some nut free dessert ideas!

My wife cannot have anything relating to a cow right now due to my breastfeeding daughter having issues keeping it down. I am wanting to make a Macaroni Salad but everything I am finding is requiring condensed milk. Do they make a dairy free condensed milk? We have mayo that is dairy free, so that is not an issue. Is there a good recipe out there that you know of that I can make?

This is a really simple easy pulled pork recipe that uses only a few ingredients and is easy to prepare. The taste is absolutely amazing for such a simple pulled pork recipe. This will definitely become one of your favourite pork dishes. The shredded pork is initially rubbed in a brown sugar, Dijon mustard and balsamic mix. This provides a wonderful juicy, tender tasty base. However, what really elevates this dish to another level is the amazing brown sugar, soy sauce & balsamic glaze that is simmered and thickened before being drizzled over the pork.
Ingredients:
• 2 - 2.5 kg Boneless Pork Shoulder I also use boneless Pork Leg as well
• 2 cloves Garlic chopped
• Salt to season
• Pepper to season
• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar firmly packed
• 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
• 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
• 3/4 cup water
Brown Sugar & Balsamic Sauce
• 1 cup Brown Sugar firmly packed
• 2 tbsp Corn Flour
• 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
Instructions:
1. Cut the pork into 5-6 smaller chunks to fit easier into your pressure cooker.
2. Rub salt and pepper into each pork chunk.
3. In a large bowl, add brown sugar, dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar. Stir to fully combine.
4. Add pork to bowl and using your hands, coat each pork chunk with the brown sugar mixture.
5. Place pork into pressure cooker along with garlic and 3/4 cup water.
6. Cook on high setting for about 45 minutes.
7. Once pork is cooked, remove from pressure cooker and shred.
8. Drizzle brown sugar and balsamic sauce (see instructions below) over the pork and serve.
Brown Sugar Balsamic Sauce
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add brown sugar, corn flour, balsamic vinegar, water and soy sauce and stir to mix fully.
2. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken. Stir regularly.
3. Drizzle over shredded pork.

I have successfully grown my first eggplant in my garden! It's enormous and I'm looking for some recipe ideas other than moussaka, because the plant has at least 3 more eggplants growing on it- what else is delicious that involves eggplant?
