I've had a recipe on my mind for more than 20 years now but have never been able to find it. In the late 90's, my aunt gave me a recipe for a delicious dessert that I made often for the family. However, we moved and my copy was lost. My aunt kept promising to find her copy for me but she never did. She then had a mental breakdown, and I don't feel right bothering her about it now.
I think it's a trifle but i'm not 100% sure. This is all I can remember of the recipe:
Crushed graham crackers - was the first layer in the bowl
whipped cream or canned fruit - can't remember which was next
then there was an alternating layer of canned fruit and whipped all the way to the top of the bowl
don't remember what the top layer was
Refrigerated for a few hours to set
Anybody know this recipe? I've tried googling for years but have never found the one I'm looking for. I may end up giving some other similar ones a try.
