My childhood nanny was Hungarian and I ADORED the food she made. Lots of meat which I loved since my folks were vegetarian (and we were at home). She used to make a dish that was my absolute fave - it basically translated to "pepper stew" but I don't know the Hungarian name. I've googled, tried recipes, but nothing is quite right or the same. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Has anyone come across this dish/ recipes? As far as I remember it has spicy sausage and very spicy peppers and noodles and was tomato-based...
