Looking for a good, but easy, fudge brownie recipe...?

My husband's birthday is coming up & every year I like to make a sweet treat of his choosing. This year he requested fudge brownies. Normally I'd go out & buy a boxed mix, but I am feeling adventurous and would like to make them from scratch. I am not looking for anything too complicated though. I've been getting better in the kitchen, but am far from a professional chef. lol

It would be a big bonus if anyone had an easy chocolate icing recipe for on top as well. ;)
