My wife and I both work all day. We have two children, 7 and 10, that can be pretty picky when it comes to food. Our dinner meals typically consist of macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, fries, and very rarely a meal that I would be proud telling somebody I made.
I’m tired of digging through the freezer to find something to cook. I’m not very creative, but when I have followed recipes in the past the food turned out really good. The problem is that by the time I get home from work, figuring out something to cook is difficult. My daughter refuses to eat most meat, and my son says “I don’t know”. When I ask my wife, she defaults to easy stuff that doesn’t sound appealing because we’ve eaten it for the passed few weeks.
My wife doesn’t cook because it something that she just doesn’t like to do. I really like to cook, but I just have a hard time deciding what to make that I know everybody’s going to want to eat. I’ve looked online a lot of websites want you to pay to have them provide you with a meal plan, but are there any better websites out there? Or maybe a meal plan that somebody here has come up with that would help getting started?
I get home around 3-4pm so I have the time.
