I made some gumbo...

Chicken and sausage Gumbo Mofo

Aight so you wanna make a gumbo? Well based on my prior knowledge of watching 3 youtube videos, I think I got dis shiz down. 

First you gots to get your ingredients:

 Meat my dude, 1/2 lbs sausage, 4 cups cooked chicken Veggie oil (canola) 1-3 tablespoons, watch your arteries fam 5 tablespoons all purpose flour 1 cup of finely cut onion 1 cup chopped celery 2 garlicky bois (minced) 1 green pepper chopped up 4 cans of that sweet, sweet chicken juice (broth 14.5 oz ) Paprika, cyanne, Definitely a teaspoon of thyme 1 table spoon of creole seasoning Some Old Bae I guess (Old bay seasoning, 1 teaspoon) Lots of salt…like lots of salt, might as well put the whole damn rock of salt in 

LEZ MAKE ET:

First we gotta make one roux to rule them all

  1. Put that oil on some heat fo shizzle, wait for it to get toasty (medium high heat)
  2. Add in small amounts of dat flowuhhh til it all in
  3. DON’T STAP STURRIN THAT SHIZ WILL BURN
  4. Get it to a pasty consistency and keep going til it turns into a penny color
  5. You just made a roux. Nice.

Now we gotta make duh gummmmbooooooiiiii

  1. Add in that holy trinity to the roux that god himself would smile upon (Onion, celery, Pepper)
  2. Add in the sweet sweet chicken juice
  3. Put those garlicy bois in da pot
  4. Add in all dat mhuwa spiceeee
  5. Splash in some of that kosher salt (to taste)
  6. aDD IN DAT MEAT
  7. MAKE SOME RICE…or not…its your life…do what you want
  8. EAT THAT DELICIOUS GUMBOOOIIIII
