Homemade Chinese Stir Fry Kwe Tiauw/Wide Noodle (8 Steps, Go-To-Easy-Cooking) :D

First of all, I'm a teenager who cooks for hobby and aiming to improve myself in culinary world. Second, I am broke as hell XD

The Recipe is what I copy-paste from my recipe submission to another user in another subreddit, but I will update the recipe since there are some changes.

Ingredients for one serving: - Chinese wide noodle, something that's similar to fettuccine but it's white (you can search it around Chinese food store near you, I think) - Grinded blackpepper or just storebought blackpepper powder - Chili Sauce - 2 cloves of Garlic and 1/4 Onion - Brown sugar (Optional) - Soy Sauce - bits of beef or chicken (do NOT put a lot in it unless it's what you want to do, optional) - Carrots, any other veggies, or my favorite: Chinese Cabbage with Chinese Broccoli - Butter How to cook:

Measure the amount of noodle you want to cook, depending on the noodle packaging it may or may not come with grouped strands. If you have like around 3 cm diameters of noodle in your palm when you hold it, then it's good. It depends on how much you want to cook

  1. Boil the noodle to desired consistency. For me, I boil mine from 1 to 2 minutes.

  2. While waiting the noodle to boil, dice the onion and the garlic. The smallest it is, the fastest it will burn, so don't cook for too long if you're going to make it really small.

    1. Melt your butter on a pan and set it to medium heat, stir fry the onion and the garlic until it's aromatic.
    2. Add the meat (optional) and then season with salt and blackpepper, in this step you could also add your veggies
    3. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar (optional) and chili sauce if you like it
    4. Add the noodle and dash of the noodle water, add soy sauce to your liking and then stir fry evenly.
    5. It will cook in a fairly short amount of time so be sure to taste, it should take 3 to 5 minutes after you add the noodle for it to cook.
    6. Plate, garnish however you like, and then serve

Note: 1. I kinda experimented with the dish and it was so good for me. Personal Opinions :v 2. If at first it doesn't taste great, just don't use brown sugar at all 3. This recipe is deconstruct-able, so you can experiment yourself with the other ingredients 4. You can use other type of chinese noodle beside the wide one, the characteristic is white and easy to break. Not a miso, but miso-able

I think that is to it, hope you get a good dining experience :D

Edit: It's Kway Teow in English and Kwetiau in Indonesia, sorry for the spelling ;-;
