I've been to a few Greek restaurants recently, and every one seems to have phenomenal chicken souvlaki -- tender chicken breast meat, not dry, flavorful, and incredibly easy to pick off the skewers or cut with a knife. It always blows my mind how good it is (especially when working with chicken breast meat instead of thighs). It blows my mind so much so that I really want to learn how to make it! I figure a community like /r/Recipes would be a great place to ask about any recipes, tips, marinades, etc. on how to make an authentic or otherwise incredibly tasty (and hopefully healthy!) chicken souvlaki dish.
The one thing I know is that it's usually grilled, but I don't have a grill, so hopefully that doesn't hinder my ability to make a great dish! Could I use something like a stovetop or a broiler?
I know there's this recipe, but I figure I'd see what other people have recipe-wise! :)
