Any tips for Corned Beef Brisket?

I have a 2.7 lb corned beef brisket, a head of green cabbage, 6 large carrots and a bag of baby golden potatoes. I think I’m going to use my crockpot tomorrow. I have the general idea of how to do this, and I know to add the cabbage in at the last hour. But still nervous! Any tips? Thanks!
