My dad does all the cooking at home, so I thought for Father’s Day I could give him a break and make a nice home-cooked meal. But here I am on the night before with still no idea what to make!
In my personal opinion, he’s a pretty good chef, so I’d like to make something a little fancier that we don’t often eat at home; however, I don’t cook very often and don’t want to overestimate my skills. Please give me your suggestions for sides, salads, entrees and desserts that you think are impressive without being overwhelming! I am open to most any ingredients or cooking method except grilling on a barbecue as I have no idea how to use ours.
