Being a college student means it's way cheaper to make and bring your own food than it is to eat overpriced snacks they serve on campus instead. Upon testing for new ways to make bread and meat taste better, I discovered a new way to snack.
Please note, the recipe is designed to make one sandwich only. Double or triple for more sandwiches.

Directions:
- Stick both slices of bread in the toaster in the light setting to firm the bread. Remove and place on plate.
- Melt the butter and spread evenly on both sides of both slices of bread.
- Use either garlic powder or minced garlic and apply to one side of both slices of bread.
- Coat each of the garlic sides of bread with Mexican Cheese
- Place both slices face up on a baking sheet and put that in the toaster oven to 250 degrees for 10 minutes, or until cheese is lightly melted. Remove and set for 10 minutes.
- Once set, place the toast back on your baking sheet, both sides cheese up. Place the ham, turkey, salami, bacon, swiss, and pepper jack on one piece of toast, then return baking sheet to oven. Cook in the toaster oven again at 250 degrees for 10 minutes or until top layers of cheese melt.
- Remove when finished. Add your toppings of choice or the ones recommended above on the side with the meat and cheese.
- Finish up by placing the other piece of toast blank down on the sandwich so the garlic bread is facing up. Enjoy immediately or let sit in lunch bag for 6 hours until consumed.
