Help me modify this slow cooker chicken & stuffing recipe to give it a little oomph

Yesterday I made a slow cooker chicken & stuffing recipe I found on Pinterest. It was easy and yummy, but it needed a little more flavor - a little something to make it more complex. Here is the recipe as it was made yesterday:

4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup skim milk 1 box Stovetop Stuffing mix, chicken flavor 1/4 cup melted butter

  1. Mix cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup together with milk
  2. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and cover with soup mixture
  3. Evenly spread stuffing mix on top
  4. Melt butter and drizzle over dry stuffing
  5. Cover and cook on high 4 hours

The stuffing was great, it made almost a bread pudding, but I would say the primary flavor of the "sauce" was just "salt". It needs a little something.

Suggestions?
