Summary
This kimbap is just one of the kinds of kimbap that we made in our video, there are many varieties of kimbap that we made. This dish is everywhere in Korea, kimbap is always taken to picnics! This dish is just a few ingredients, all stuffed into dried seaweed!
Ingredients (Didn’t add the amount, just because of the preference people have)
- Dried Seaweed
- Pickled Radish (yellow)
- Fish Cake
- Crab Meat
- Eggs
- Cucumbers
- Spam
- Carrots
- Spinach
- Sesame Seeds
- Cheese (Any kind is fine)
- Sesame Oil
Directions
- Slice all your ingredients into short strips
- Put your cucumbers into a pot, and add a little bit of salt (mix)
- Add oil to a pan while the heat is on medium-high
- Add your fish cake (already sliced)
- Add half a tablespoon of brown sugar
- A teaspoon of soy sauce
- Mix for 1 minute
- Add to a plate
- Add oil to a pan
- Add your carrots on medium-high
- Add a pinch of salt
- Mix for 1 minute
- Add it to the plate
- Add oil to the pan again
- Add your crab meat to the pan while the heat is on medium
- Mix for 1 minute
- Add it to the plate
- Add your Spam to the pan with no oil
- Mix until 1 minute
- Add to a plate
- Get 4 eggs and whisk until you get a fine texture
- Add another touch of oil to a pan
- Add half of your whisked eggs to the pan
- Thoroughly cook that pan of egg
- Then cook the other half of the egg (mixture)
- Take your egg and layer them on top of each other
- Roll it up, and slice thinly
- Get a bowl of rice
- Add a teaspoon of vinegar
- Pinch of salt
- A tablespoon of sesame seeds
- Mix well
- Spread your rice all on the seaweed
- Add all of your ingredients layer by layer
- Roll it up
- Then slice your kimbap into little circle shapes
