I’ve been growing some fresh herbs recently and my basil situation is out of control. I’ve already made a delicious pizza and some pesto which I ate with pasta.
Some of the basil cocktails look good but I’m more into sour cocktails so I don’t think basil is going to be something I like in a drink.
So Reddit chefs, what are some good uses for basil? Aside from the obvious pizza and pesto routes, what other applications exist for this delicious herb?
I may just leave the plant growing on my desk because it smells so damn good.
