Hey all I'm cooking food for my date and I had an idea but I wanted advice or thoughts on whether this would work well. I used to make this macaroni and goat blue cheese with some dill in it. The result was this super luxurious mac that was super rich and flavorful. I was thinking of adding in some cremini mushrooms and lamb chorizo into the mix as well but I'm not sure if the flavors would play right.
Sauce: cream, goat cheese, blue cheese, salt, dill, dash of paprika, onion and garlic sweated before all this stuff added. Cut with lemon juice.
Crimini mushrooms, cut thin and pan fried to get crispy, and just tossed lightly with salt/pepper and olive oil. The chorizo is a typical mexican blend of spices in with ground lamb, browned in a pan in large chunks.
