Recipe For Delicious Pistachio Modak On This Ganesh Chaturthi

We all know that Ganesh Chaturthi would not be complete with out a modak and modak are usually made of Maida(all purpose flour) and so to make a this ganesh chaturthi a different why don't we try different types and flavors of modak, so i made a pistachio Modak recipe, hope you all will like it-

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Khoa / Khoya / Mawa, Grated
  • 12 Pistachios
  • 4 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cardamom
  • a pinch Green Color (optional)
  • 1 Modak Plastic Mould
  • as per need Clarified Butter (Ghee)

Instructions

In a fired/nonstick pan,add ground khoya.

On low warmth continue mixing it.In a blender processor make a coarse glue of pistachios with drain.

Add the glue to this khoya.Mix well and continue mixing on low fire till the blend begins discharging ghee and begins to shape a mixture.

Switch of the gas.Add the cardamom powder,sugar and green shading.

Blend delicately with hands for a moment or two till the blend frames a decent dough.Apply little ghee to your palms and to the modak molds from inside.

Stuff adequate amount in every 50% of modak form

Close the shape firmly.

Open the shape and take out the modak.Enjoy these this happy season!
