Story at the end of the recipe, like it should be:
This recipe is unique in that the dough doesn't have to chill before being cut into cookies. Most of them do have to chill. This is really helpful when you have kids who may want to help mix the dough, but who don't want to have to wait for an hour to cut the cookies. It's also surprisingly flavorful, for a sugar cookie, and the cookies come out a bit thicker and chewier than most, rather than the standard crunchy sugar cookie.
Look, man. All I'm saying is that my ex used to make enough wonderful cookies at christmas to feed a small army of gourmets, and after she tried this recipe, she immediatly switched her sugar cookies up.
