Traditional ramen broth/stock

Hello guys!

First of all, I'm brazilian. English is not my first language and that's why I wrote "broth/stock". I don't really know the difference of those terms... If someone enlightened that for me, it would be very nice. :)

Now, for the main question. Does anyone know a traditional ramen broth/stock recipe? One of those the you have to babysit the stock for tens of hours, with lots of processes and ingredients? Here we don't have many restaurant that cook true ramen and I wanted to taste it. Also, as I'm planning on going to Japan real soon, I would like to know how close I could get of the taste of ramen made by experienced hands.

I can cook well, so don't hold up on recipes. Do

Also, a little disclaimer: I hope I don't offend anyone, since that is a very cultural and traditional dish! If I did, I'm sorry.

Thanks everyone!
