Would adding American Swiss cheese slices (the ones in plastic wrap) to my lasagna be a good or bad idea?

I’ve always made my lasagna with real mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan. This time I want to also add some American Swiss slices but am not not sure if it would be a good idea?

Thoughts?
