Question : beef recipe

Hello redditors,

I am looking for a recipe for a beef i remember my uncle used to prepare. It was beef sirloin which was baked in the oven in a single piece. I remember that recipe called for lots of butter and that outcome was meat which was black outside and pink inside. Would appreciate any help with that. Thank you in advance!
