Stews of different cultures

Growing up, we ate carne guisada on weekends. Slow cooked all day until we salivated. I later tried my hand at this recipe but, with my busy schedule, it became a rarity.

Now I've got a little more time on my hands and I'm interested in trying the stews and slow-cooked and braised dinners of different cultures.
