I did some digging on line and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I want to make a dark red punch, but I want it to be dark and thicker, like blood. I was almost thinking of taking inspiration from a red wine hot chocolate and having a hot punch, but I'm not sure I could pull off the color that way.
I was also thinking maybe a raspberry and/or strawberry coulis could add the thickness and color I wanted, but I was concerned it would be too sweet. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? I want to steer away from Hawaiian Punch and similar artificial flavors and colors.
