I grew up eating a specific kind of pogacha but the baking company who made it closed years ago. The owner was Croatian and I'm assuming the recipe was, too. My grandfather had it at one point, says it may be in storage (or it may be lost), but he is nearing the end of his life and it may never surface. I don't think it was a fasting pogacha.
The loaf was round and fairly flat, about 1.5in thick. The top had dimples and one side of the bread was salty. Very dense. No recipe I've come across online looks similar.
I'm not really a bread-maker, so any suggestions would be appreciated!
