Malvani Chicken Recipe

Ingridients Malvani chicken recipe:-

Firstly 2 teaspoons Malvani masala dry powder

secondly 1-2 teaspoons green chillies crushed

2-3 teaspoons Ginger crushed

3 teaspoon garlic cloves crushed

Then 2-3 tablespoon Oil

For gravy

  • Firstly 1 tablespoon coconut paste
  • Secondly 1-2 onions chopped
  • 5-7cinnamon sticks
  • 1-2 teaspoon black pepper corns
  • 2-3 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 4-5 dry red chillies
  • Finally 2 tablespoon Oil

For masala

  • 500 gram Chicken
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dry coconut powder
  • 1 spring Dry coconut powder chopped

Instructions for Malvani chicken recipe

  • Firstly Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and after that add few pieces of red chillies,black pepper corns, coriander seeds, few cinnamon sticks and fry for sometime and add chopped onions. Cook in slow fllame till the onions are golden brown.
  • Then add 1-2 tbsp coconut paste and cook the masalas till it is coloured. After that grind this mixture in the blender to a paste and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and when the oil gets hot, add crushed garlic, ginger, green chillies and cook till the raw flavours are gone.
  • Then add Malvani masala, turmeric and garam masala powder. Cook this masala on a slow flame and then add the garam masala paste and cook.

  • Add some water and mix well. Then add chicken pieces and mix well until the chicken pieces are nicely covered with the masala.
  • Add some salt, mix and cover the pan with a lid. Cook this for sometime on a slow flame till the chicken releases out its juices.
  • You can add some water if required and again cook on medium flame till the chicken gets soft. When the chicken is almost done, sprinkle grated dry coconut . Mix well.
  • Finally Off the flame.Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve it.
