[REQUEST] Trying to find a specific Snickerdoodle recipe from an old cookbook

So, I've been making this snickerdoodle recipe out of a cookbook my parents owned for years and a few months ago my mom mistakenly threw out the cookbook. I was supposed to make these cookies for my brother's wedding this month (Italian family tradition to have a cookie table at the wedding) and I've been trying to find a good snickerdoodle recipe to replace it, but none I've made have been nearly as good. Coming here as my last ditch effort to try and find that recipe or one that is as good!

I believe that the book it came out of was an old version of the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, although I've looked in two different editions of that book and neither had the right recipe. My mom thinks it was a Betty Crocker, but I seem to remember the red/white plaid of the Better Homes and Gardens book. Neither brand's online recipe is quite what I remember.

I remember a few things about the recipe, the first being that it was huge and made a lot of cookies (like 5-6 dozen). The other thing I remember was it taking an ungodly amount of flour. I want to say it was like 5 and a half cups, but that might not be quite right.

If anyone has one of these cookbooks and would be willing to check the recipe, I would be super grateful! Also definitely open to trying more new recipes if anyone has a great go-to recipe. Thanks in advance for the help!
